You may or may not have heard:  NYC has just passed a law requiring employers and property owners to call transgendered people by their preferred pronouns such as him, her, he, she or even newly minted words such as ze, hir or Mx. People who still insist on telling the truth by referring to a man who thinks he’s a woman as he, him or Mr. can be punished with fines up to $250,000.

As I write these words I am still shocked at the blatant destruction of freedom.  But the bottom line is that freedom cannot exist without truth – and truth is gasping its dying breath in the halls of our government.

FragileWhy is it so important that we all affirm the morality of LGBT activists? Isn’t this country big enough for people to have dissenting views on something as personal as sexuality? The answer is no – not when your whole identity is dependent upon the affirmation of other people. The problem is the identity of LGBT activists is very fragile. It is fragile because it is not grounded in truth. It’s not grounded in DNA, biology or anatomy. It’s not grounded in the Bible, history or even common sense. That is why even the small number of people who have enough faith, courage and integrity to stand by the truth cannot be tolerated. That is why LGBT activists and their allies scour the country seeking to crush the tiniest pockets of dissent wherever they may be found; florists in Washington, photographers in New Mexico, bakers in Oregon and even school districts in Illinois that at one point rightly refused to allow male students to use female restrooms and locker rooms…

The verdict is final.  Freedom of religion, conscience, association and speech cannot be tolerated. The identity of LGBT persons is simply too fragile to handle it.  The truth is to these people, what a hurricane is to a house of cards…

The Bible tells us to seek the truth, know the truth, guard the truth, walk in the truth, practice the truth, testify to the truth, rejoice in the truth, speak the truth and that the truth will set us free. To say that truth is important to God is an understatement of vast proportion.  As people committed to truth, followers of Christ are now on a collision course with the state.  For the early Christians it was refusing to burn incense to the emperor.  For us it might just be refusing to pretend that a man is a woman.  Will we stand with the Truth or lie?  Make your choice now.  It’s time to prepare…
